I am not sure if I did her kimono correctly, but a friend of mine suggested that she should be called The Bride due to the all-white. I purposely (sp?) folded her kimono with the right over left to show that she is dead. I really like Dia De Los Muertos tattoo designs, so I took a little of that influence for the flowers growing out of her body, but I didn't want to go too intricate with it. I was afraid it would be too busy.
I am still practicing on the Japanese style black cloud background style, but overall, I kinda like this design. Not too happy with the fog/smoke at the bottom, though.
I needed something for her to lean on so that her skeleton would stay upright in all those layers, so I took a little bit from Inuyasha and made her pinned to the tree with the sword...only, obviously, she died.
The flowers growing out of her look great, as do the folds of the kimono. I like the...pins?...in her hair that were holding it up before it fell. Very nice touch. I really like this.
Hiya! She looks like she was once very pretty or at least dressed pretty. lol
The pins in her hair and the flowing cloth gives it a certain realism. I like the sword idea... and the details on the sword. She looks like she died by an angry lover who wanted her to suffer dearly.
As I continue to look at it. There is obviously a very sad story behind the picture. Someone should ask to write a story to go along with this pic.
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.
